Seven Week Summer Program

Dates: July 3 - August 18

The Niels Bohr International Academy at the Niels Bohr Institute, in collaboration with NORDITA, is organizing a Summer Institute taking place in Copenhagen during the summer of 2006. The Summer Institute includes four thematic programmes described above and culminates in a concluding conference.

The purpose of the thematic workshops is to bring together top level scientists working at the frontier of the given fields and stimulate further progress. The structure of the workshops will provide ample time for discussions and interactions. The number of participants for each of the workshops, beyond the local ones, is expected to be 10-15. In addition, there will be invited guests working on cosmology and lattice gauge theory.

At the concluding conference renowned scientists will provide their point of view on the future of theoretical particle physics.

This year's event is organized by the Theoretical Particle Physics and Cosmology Group.
