Black Holes and String Theory

Description:

The workshop aims at discussing a broad variety of recent developments centered around black holes and string theory. This will include for example entropy of supersymmetric black holes, higher derivative corrections, relation to topological string theory, higher dimensional gravity, black rings, solitonic solutions in gravity and relation to gauge/gravity duality, bubbling AdS spaces, phase transitions in large N field theories.

Program:

There will be typically each day a morning talk and a talk in the afternoon. More informal discussions will take place during the rest of the time. Here is the program
